Letting go of a child to embark on the path of education is a daunting prospect for parents and children alike.  Like all parents, we wanted to send our kids somewhere that served as an extension of home.  Tree House is just this place; a nurturing environment in which to learn, grow, and thrive.  Here children are given the tools to foster independence while cocooned in love and support.  Tree House truly is a unique school and will always be very dear to our family.

"The first time I visited Tree House, I was immediately drawn by the warm feeling of the school. I was able to see the amazing staff working with the kids and I was convinced right away that it was the right place for my family. As newcomers to West Vancouver, finding a nurturing environment for our kids was essential to us. My children didn't speak English and didn't have experience being away from home, so they both started as shy kids. Thanks to the incredible job of very experienced and caring teachers, our kids came out of their shells and started enjoying time at Preschool very much. Our oldest daughter had a smooth transition into kindergarten and I believe her years at Tree House had a lot to do with that. The teachers are amazing. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience for my kids. Now, their memories of school will be great ones!"

"I have recently graduated from 5 years at the Tree House. The amazing teachers at the Tree House have forever shaped my family. Without their constant guidance and support, I am not sure how I would have made it through all those crazy years of juggling toddlers, babies, dogs, diapers, etc. I miss the Tree House, but fortunately my kids, now at Irwin Park Elementary School, will be dropping into the Tree House in the After School Care Program from time to time when I can't pick them up because of an appointment, or if I just need a break! Thank you Tree House!"

Finding the Tree House is like reconnecting with a long lost family friend.  All our boys went to the Tree House (our two year old is in the Toddler Program this year) and they loved it. Now that our two oldest are in elementary school, they love going back to the Tree House  during  Pro-D Day and Winter Camps. They literally run to the door.
The love, care and attention given by Margot, Mary, Lee, Rocio, Imke and Yen make the Tree House a very special place. We truly believe that our boys love school because of their early experience at the Tree House. Now that our two year old started the Toddler Program, we wish we had more kids... just to be part of the Tree House family a little longer... Thank you Margot, Mary, Lee, Yen, Imke & Rocio for being such wonderful caring, generous people. Our boys love you, we love you.

"When we moved into Dundarave in the summer of 2009, we didn't know anyone and didn't have any clue where we would send our youngest son, Justin to preschool in the fall.  I started to ask the moms that I met if they could recommend a warm and caring learning environment for Justin, who was 3 at the time.  Time and time again I heard about Treehouse and the amazing staff.  I met Mary and Margot and I instantly knew this was the right place for Justin.  We were so lucky to get one of the last spots available and Justin joined Treehouse in September.  It was an excellent decision!  The team at Treehouse seems to have an amazing ability to be firm and set boundaries, but in the most loving and kind way.  Justin had separation anxiety for the first 5 or 6 weeks of pre-school.  I will never be able to thank Mary enough for holding Justin in her arms while he cried each day as I slowly gained the courage to leave him there.  I used to sneak back sometimes later in the day and I would see him holding her hand as she went about her classroom duties.  Eventually he became confident and thrived.  And now he is an extremely well adjusted "big boy" in grade 1.  He still talks about Mary and Margot and runs up to give them big hugs every time he sees them.  I can't think of a more loving and supportive environment for a preschool.  I am eternally grateful for the time Justin spent at Treehouse.    Wendy (Lucas 8, Justin 6)
